Installing dual steering stabilizer
Not sure if I'm in the right thread, but I'm going to install a dual steering stabilizer on my 2014 JK I just got a 4 in. lift done a few months back and now when I'm driving on the highway (60+) my jeep is all over the road. Someone recommend that I replace the stock steering stabilizer just wanted to know if anyone had any other input.
Thanks,
Nick

Steering stab isn't likely the problem -- the stock unit works well. Did you get some form of caster correction with the lift? If not, caster angle is likely the problem. See the sticky messages at the top of this forum for details.
I put one on my old '07. It was stock tire size with no lift but nothing else would control the death wobble. Rebalanced tires, bought new ones, checked all the steering components. Never had another instance after installing the dual tube stabilizer.
Your problem lies somewhere else, most likely in the roll center and lack of caster due to a 4" lift. Post up some additional info on the lift and any other things you may have done to the jeep. The factory steering stabilizer is fine and is just a waste of money to do an "upgrade" on it.
