I am starting this thread as a way to document the slow (and continual) upgrade/build of Our Project Jeep.
It is a 2015 Wrangler Sport 6spd.
As purchased:
First chance to get dirty:
First thing we did was order a Tyger Hitch kit (ordered at dinner the night of purchase). Then ordered a 13" black antenna and door sill scuff plates (see doors off pic).
Then we got headlight/grille inserts to hold us over until we can get the colour matched Vader grille ordered and in.
Then last week had a chance to take off the doors. This was fun, but visibility was an issue without mirrors.
I am leaving early today to get the doors off (80 plus here today) take the top down and install mirrors to go cruisin'.
Coming soon (in no particular order):
1. Paint match Vader Grille
2. Steps
3. Winch mount front bumper
4. Winch
5. BesTop locking trunk.
6. Running lights (for Herping)
7. Sport Top
8. Headlights/Fog lights LED Upgrade
9. High lift Jack with mount
10. Upgraded skid plates
11. Upgraded sound system (with rear camera and maybe gps)
12. Neoprene orange/black seat covers
13. CB
The Jeep will be my daily so everything will be mild (famous last words?) Colour scheme will be White and Black obviously, with Orange accents. This will help with our gear that goes from the wife's Pearl White Crosstrek to the Wrangler and having it match (wife's idea and I like orange). I will try adding progress pics going forward as well as any install pics that correspond.
I welcome everyone's thoughts and input. Looking forward to being an active part of the community.
David

Reason: spellin
It will remain white with the 1974 style graphics except with our name "Retrograde" inset. Going with classic tube style bumpers front and rear. Still debating Black D Windows or Black Slot style wheels. I always wanted a Renegade as a kid and since I was born in '74, it makes sense.
