I don't use my Jeep without the hardtop. I used to live in OC and know how the weather was. I used to ride my bike all year round.

Cut some foam to size for the tray.

I'll be cutting a few different templates for different setups and can swap them out depending on need.

Got rid of the Condition Zero holster mount and replaced it with the one made by Molle Platform Solutions. It's way better thought out. The Condition Zero one comes with a pathetic soft nylon holster which went in the trash directly. The MPS version does not come with a holster, which is the smart way to do it. You can attach a holster various ways. It has two long slots that allows you to clip whatever holster you are carrying on you. It basically simulates the width of a belt. It also has a bunch of holes that match both the Safariland pattern as well as the G-Code RTI pattern. I think it may also work with the Blackhawk pattern too. There are some Molle slots too so you can add pouches on the opposite side.

I installed a Safariland QLS mount because I can swap out the holster depending on pistol and need. All my holsters have the QLS system so it was a no brain to keep using that setup.

It really is such a great and well thought out mount. Way better than the old Condition Zero that was on there and never got it to work properly.

Love the mount, but have a question... During long drive time does it get in the way of your right leg resting at all? I'm 6'4" and when on cruise control, will rest my leg to the right. Looks like it would be uncomfortable. Obviously easier to get than from my console...

If you don't mount pouches on the outside I doubt it would bother you. I'm not 6'4" (5'10") so I'm not a good comparison. You can actually push it in a bit more. I have it out because of the quick release mount system, and so I can use my longest holster for my G34 with X300. If you have a more compact setup, you can definitely push it in more. Even then, as is, it doesn't bother me one bit since it's completely flat and comfortable to leave my leg leaning against it. You could always add some additional padding if needed since there's a ton of holes to strap one on.

Flipped through every page of your build last night and really enjoyed it. Always interesting to see other peoples' mods on a different kind of build than your own, and to see how others use their jeeps. Good job!

Range day with the Jeep. As a concealed carry permit holder, I train in an around my vehicle. I also wanted to test the new MPS holster mount. I'll also run some drills with my carbine. Space is very tight in the Jeep and you don't want any surprises, if and when you might need to defend yourself.

Got one of the foam templates cut out. Have a few other templates depending on configuration. It really keeps everything well organized and secured. If you have the hardtop insulation, it helps keep everything nice and snug.

Out with the old.

In with the new, or Teraflex Performance Big Rotor Kit.

Best thing is they fit in the Hutchinson beadlocks! It's a tight fit, but they're good to go. Even though they're 17", due to the internal beadlock design, the internal dimensions are smaller than the average 17" rim. Now to go out for a quick spin and slowly break them in. "Ex Umbris Venimus"
