Hey Jon, glag to have you on the build team. I've not experienced the Hemi yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it before Moab.

Ordered a lot more boring parts today, but we are getting very close to tearing down the 3.8!

Steve, Tell me about it!...dealing with all this little stuff is killing me! Water pumps, alterantors, exhaust, smog, trans seals, trans adapters, cylinder coils...

BTW, what are you doing posting, I thought you were at KOH today.

Well, I never promised this would be a fast build...but, my Jeep finally goes into the shop this Wednesday to start pulling the old motor and transmission out. The engine compartment will be cleaned up and then the Hemi, transmission, and Atlas go in. Photos and updates to follow.

Anyone want to buy a used engine and transmission?

Sorry; I've been really busy at work, which is good, because i have to pay for this build. Jim Cox has also been busy though, here is a teaser photo - I will try to get more posted later:

Thumbs up Hemi Install

We got delayed about a week waiting for some more parts to come in and for a lift to clear at the Higher Ground 4x4 shop (yeah, that's the new name of Jim Cox's shop). We are still on track to get the Hemi installed and dialed in before we leave for Moab on 03/30. Here are a few photos from last night:
