After all the fun with my spare I also installed my Wilson bumper mount and 4ft fire fly I ran my coaxial through the frame up to the pass floor board through a gromet and under the carpet. I ordered a cobra 19 from amazon and am still unsure of where I will mount it and where I can get it all tuned at...I know the swrs will be less than desirable but would still like it to be professionally tuned.

If you get an SWR meter (they're fairly cheap-I got one for $20) you can tune it very easily. Just google how to do it. I did mine this way and I have 1.2->1.1 SWR from 1-40 on my antenna.

Oh, and I'm in Lexington, so if you're out this way, hit me up, we'll grab a

I'm liking what you're doing with the Jk. Just wanted to give you a shout from a fellow KY jeeper, I'm in Georgetown. I'm heading to Windrock next month.
