Please be kind! I am a woman that loves my Jeep! And due to this protective relationship I do all the mechanical work myself. I have a 13 Jeep Wrangler JK. Yesterday my a/c started blowing hot air. I’m thinking ok, I need to charge my a/c. But then I noticed I was running hot too! I looked to see if I had thrown a belt but all looked good. Where should I start?

 

Welcome to JKF; Good friendly group. on the run hot.. if you have a Jscan connect up and watch the actual coolant temp.. if not .. next time pull over to safety turn off and listen for any boiling water sounds..don't open the system when hot.. could be a stuck thermostat. On the AC check the lines from the compressor for Coldness; 1 will be colder than the other.. cycle the temp knob hot to cold a few times listening for the actuator moving the blend air door. youtube has some videos on replacement of the actuator on the side of the HVAC box. Base next actions the findings.
