Default Replacing my carpet. Need your opinions

Afternoon y’all

It’s time to get rid of the stock carpet and replace it with a vinyl or rubber. I’m here in Phoenix, looking for some input on things I should know about heat and materiel and what not. I’m considering just ordering a 1/8in think vinyl roll, adhesive and roll and place it myself. But am concerned about gluing down in high heat spots and the actual surface temp and cabin temp when In direct sunlight.

Appreciate any thoughts, opinions, personal experience, or even if you know a guy!

thank you.

I will completely back up that bedrug suggestion. I bedlined my tub few years back. After a couple years of that I went to BedRug and really really like it. Easy to get in, easy to pull out if had to clean it, simply hose it off, doesn't stain....it's a great product, and it is reasonably priced as well.

Agreed on the Bedrug as well. It's lind of like every other thing that you want to do to the Jeep: you have the cheap option or the right option. Spend some$$ and do it the right way.
