The spacers were made from solid round stock (If I remember right I used 1 1/4" round stock).

I made the spacers 3" long and drilled a hole through and taped it for threads. Then used a 1 1/4" bolt for the bottm and a 1" bolt and washer for the top.

To make it easyer to remove the top bolt I welded a large wing-nut on the bolt head.
