This may sound dumb, but I'm from the mountains. When driving on a beach, will send blow in my jeep d with top and doors off? Going to Ocracoke in March

Sure it could. If you get to spinning your wheels in sand you could throw some up into the cab. Especially if it's windy on the beach.

when driving on sand be sure to kick off your esp as it will do strange things in sand as far as applying the rear brakes when you are driving.

You may be ok with the top off only, but doors off will def have you cleaning sand out of your ride. First mod I did was removing carpet and bedlining the interior. Much easier to clean. If you end up parking on the beach (and pulling gear in and out) you're going to have sand, doors/top on or off.

Don't let your automatic overheat. Get an aux cooler and keep the t-case in 4lo.

I drive on the beach all the time. You'll probably get sand in your jeep, but most of it will be from you getting in and out of you Jeep. Very little will be from actually driving on it. Especially if you drive on the part of the sand compressed by the previous tide.

It'll be more of the salt buildup (from the air) on every surface of your Jeep that'll piss you off. Especially on the inside of your windshield!

Yeah, the salt is An issue as well. The rearview mirror and back of the sound bar get pretty bad too.
