I carry some large 1" shiny washers with a foot of florescent pink surveyors tape tied on in the glovebox. The washers go where the plan is to put the tires. Helps with a beginner spotter, and even alone, to get the tires on certain high spots to get lined-up for obstacles in succession.

I'll bet many of us have walked a difficult stretch, made a plan, and then messed it up because things look different from inside the Jeep or the spotter forgot the plan.
