Default Check them stems!

I got back this morning from a morning hunt I had to go on some rocky and wooded trails came home with no issues, a few hrs later I went outside after the game and my tire was flat come to find out it was the valve stem that broke thank god that was it but it just shows how easy it is to break them

Yep, before wheeling one day I went to air down my tires when I found that one of them had a stem that was bent in half and it wouldn't let any air out. I must have drove to close to a curb and bent the thing or something. Anyway the next day I took it to a tire place and they wanted $95 to put a new stem in because of the tpms thing in there. I ended up talking them into putting a regular stem in it without the tpms for free but my tpms light is always on since the computer doesn't sense any air but i saved myself $95.

You can get metal valve stems to prevent this. They are usually shorter too

Not on the Jeep, but I've had a valve stem sheered off by snow before.
I plopped down into some deep stuff and it just packed right into the wheel and off it came!

I ripped off 2 stems and after $180 in just sensors alone I decided to modify the design...

I banded my tpms sensors to the wheel and then had the aluminum stems replaced with the cheap rubber ones...
