Waaaay more info needed - what kind of wheeling? Rocks? Mud? Trails? Etc. From your profile, your rig seems pretty capable.
Has your Jeep buddy wheeled extensively or just a long time owner?

I know you aren't going anywhere in Maryland. You must be heading to PA, VA or WV.

That statement could get you into trouble.

As far as advice goes, just take it easy. Anything that seems too crazy or makes you feel uncomfortable, don't do it. I just went wheeling my first time was last month. It was a blast. Hopefully he has a winch.

I agree with what was said before, just take it slow and steady - choose your lines carefully. Don't climb anything too steep or approach any decent sized rocks elevated and angled. Lots of common sense stuff.

Bring tow straps and a jack for sure, plus make sure you have cell coverage or a CB. Oh and a fire extinguisher
