Gears
It all really depends on the size of your tires. 4.10s with stock tires is pretty good. Better of course than the stock 3.73 or the 3.21 that comes with stock vehicles. (4.10 is stock in some years and models)
However, if you get bigger tires, many people will recommend getting better gears to thwart off the loss of power you will feel. Popular gear ratios are 4.88 and 5.13. many people who get 33" tires will shoot for 4.88 (also does well with 35's) however people looking to go 35's and maybe higher tend to go for the 5.13 ratio
Heres a chart that kinda shows you what im talking about.

Great info. Thanks!
So I am running 35"'s, with 4.10's and a six speed. So according to the chart, I am in the acceptable gear range. Having said that, Better wheeling in the future would suggest 4.88 or 5.13. Correct?

Dead on sir. I myself debate between 4.88's or 5.13's for my Auto JK. I want 33's as my next tire...then after that I may find myself upping to 35's

4.88's for Manual is most common. Auto's tend to go to 5.13's, unless they have a Rubicon model then they choose 5.38's.
