How do you go about pulling someone with a manual tranny? On auto it's simple enough, but how should I work the clutch with my manual Jeep?

Thanks!

P.S. I tried searching for an old thread but couldn't find it.

i use my winch 99% of times

if i need an other option i use a bungee strap
i go full throttle and as soon as i feel the bungee to stretch i simply press the clutch and let the weight ans swing of the jeep do the job

and i will never use a recovery strap or worst, a chain. this is the nicest way to break something or kill someone
