Another huge +1 on the RR mount.
I just mounted my hilift extreme 48" on my new Rugged Ridge tailgate hinge mount and I love it! Fits nice and tight, has a lock and looks great.
Doesn't get in the way of the Rubicon spare but a few of the bolts are tough to get at due to the tire size.
Only complaint is they don't really explain why the covers needed to be drilled but once you have it together, it's obvious you could still have the covers on but I have no idea how you would get the covers on and hold those washers in there... So I just left the covers off, still looks fine. Should I ever sell her, I can remove the mount and put the covers back on.
All new need now is a full size bag/cover to protect the jack and still fit in the RR mount. I'm using the small back neoprene cover from Hilift for now.
---
My only question is, has anyone used the jack on the stock Rubicon rock rails? (with a rag or something to protect the finish a little).
Cheers
Tim
