Default The Jeep Wave Paradox

So, after owning a JKU for around a month, I've noticed an interesting phenomena. If you are driving your Jeep, you may see a couple of Jeeps and wave to them. If you are riding with someone else or driving another car, for some strange reason, you see so many more Jeeps. Has anyone else noticed this?

I find myself waving to Jeeps from time to time while on my bike. I think as a general rule most folks don't want a grown man in brightly colored spandex waving to them. I've gotten a few bewildered return waves, and a lot of choice words.

I find that I see the same amount of jeeps, however, whenever I wave to one, I don't get a wave back. Whenever I get fed of waving and not getting a wave back, the other jeeps wave to me.

A JK finally waived back at me today going north on 285 (Colorado). I was stoked because I've been feeling foolish waiving at JK's and not getting acknowledged. That one waive made it all worth it.
