I would go with a winch first. If you get stuck you can get yourself out.

Lockers first for me, quick to use and will get you unstuck a good percentage of the time. Have a winch now but still use lockers most of the time.

get the lockers, then you won't need the winch.

Winch. With lockers you will go further and itno more difficult terrain. Your confidence will grow, but there will come a tme you will get stuck. A winch will get you out with the proper equipment - extension strap, tree saver, block pulleys. With a couple of block pulleys you can even winch yourself in reverse.

My point is, with lockers you will get stuck deeper (or farther down the trail) than with no lockers, but you will get stuck. A winch will always be there for you. Just last Sunday I got stuck in a river, with water up to my door handles, and the winch got me out. I have rear ARbs and front Aussie!!!!!

I'd really, really like to see that.

it's a toss up.

Either way, winch or lockers, you'll have more confidence and might make decisions that get you stuck.

What type of envirnments do you go offroading in? Rocky or Muddy?
