Glad to find the good info here. This just happen to me during the weekend.

I'm still under warrinty but a little worried my local dealer will give me problems due to the mods on my JKU. Question is... should I be worried they would deny service or would you just bring it in?

Stuck in 4 Hi by the way.

If they fix it they will put the crappy plastic bushing back on. Get a 1/4 inch E-ring to put over ther linkage cable and trow a zip tie on it.
