To answer as many questions as I can,, first,, he designed and engineered these lights here in the US. They are NOT made in china!! He is using top notch LEDs,, Cree in the double stack and another top brand in the single(sorry I cant remember the name). As far as heat created by the more power,, true,, more power equals more heat,, but he combats that by machining fins into his heat sink fins, thereby almost doubling their surface area. He also put in something called a Gore Valve. It allows for atmospheric equalization; however, it does not let in moisture. His lights are water proof to 20'. An example of this Gore Valve doing its job was seen at the Pamona off road expo,, when most of the light bars which sat out all night had visible condensation inside their lens, our 50" light bars were dry as a bone inside and out!! (moisture is worse for electronics that heat) He also offers a great warranty, in case you are worried about the heat affecting the circuitry. And lastly,,, price! JSCHULT11 said they were the same as rigid. The last time I looked at the Rigid 50" double stack,, it was $1,750.00,,, At combat Led they are $1,399.00, thats a savings of $350!! Its just an alternative choice in high quality lighting from a company in which you will be dealing directly with the owner!! thats pretty nice. Good luck,, whatever lighting company anyone picks!!

I agree with that. For the 20" to 50" bars, even the Chinese ones put out a massive amount of light, so I'd get a Chinese one. Plus, you wouldn't want a $1,200 light bar hanging onto your bumper by only some screws that any jerk could unscrew and steal your bar. The light cubes, however, attract far less attention and are more affordable, so I would go with Rigid, like you said. And I completely agree that no middle ground exists with light bars lol.

Can someone help me? I'm doing a night run and want some additional lighting. What are some ideas that are good but cheap(100 or less) that I could use. Thanks.

Depends on what you want and $100 is pretty cheap so here's me 2cents. Harbor freight 100w offroad lights are like $17 pair with coupons from any offroad mag. Auto part stores sell the led strips for accent lighting for $20 or less and I know guy who has one strip mounted in each wheel well and they do great

hahaha,,, I can see why you would think that. I speak of his product with a great deal of enthusiasm. I just think its cool when an average guy like the rest of us starts his own company against all the odds. But no,, its not me. I met the owner at a local powder coater and we became instant friends,, and I usually take a while to warm up to someone.,,,,,,,,,, Plus,, he gave me some lights for the use of my jeep and helping him with the expo!!
By the way,, I didn't capitalize OUR,, that was simply to say his light bar, and my light bar,,, which are both the 50" double

I personally am not a hella fan I have 2 500s I retro fitted 130 watt bulbs and still wasn't impressed. Next ill be going led. Either Olympus lighting or engo LEDs.

The best one that I found so far are the round spot Vision X Utility (21 or 35 watts). Those are crazy bright.....

can this be tapped into the same fog light line as factory along with them to all operate same time

and is it legal to run it with fogs ?
