Default Is this possible?

My brother just sent me this picture a little while ago. No idea where or when it's from...apparently it was forwarded to him from a friend. So my questions are...

Is this even possible??

What kind of force would it take to send a tree branch through the firewall??

Does anyone know more about this story? I'd love to know how the driver turned out and what damage was done.

Thanks for getting back so quick. Glad to see the driver turned out okay.

Something else to watch for on the trails this season.

thats pretty crazy. here's a kind of related story. a friend of mine dropped a cliff snowboarding, and landed on "pungee stick", or skinny busted ass tree. it went right through his board between the bindings...he actually wasn't badly hurt, i think just a bloody nose. theres video of the aftermath in a snowboard video called clearcut. trees are a little tougher than some people give them credit for i think!
