Default Snatch strap

OK, I have been riding around without one for way to long, and had to borrow one the other day...so screw it I'm buying a strap on-line in the next 24hrs. What do you have? Satisfied? Where did you get it? Anything in particular I should look for?

I have this same kit and its great. If you don't want the whole kit go to Northridge and look at the individual pieces like the strap.

I have the same kit on the way from Northridge. David says that the ARB kit is top notch and all he uses.

Shop around and you will find some good deals. I would recommend at least a 2" strap with markers built in to indicate strain overload. Also get some good D-Shackles. I would also consider getting 2 straps, one short and one long and enough shackles to connect them both together if necessary.

If you have a tractor supply company around you can go there, or any other farm store for that matter. I have a 20' 18000# that I picked up from tractor supply for 25 bucks. Make sure you don't get metal hooks on the end though bad juju. x2 on the shackles as well. I have 4 2 on the front and 2 on the rear just incase. I also have one in my girls jeep just in case hehe

Most any 4x4 shop has pretty good ones. Some are better than others. I have 1-30' ARB, 1-20' Fiberlink, 1-10' fiberlink, 1-6' tree strap.

Anyone used a superstrap? Sort of expensive, but I like the idea of being able to adjust the length as needed.

OK...I lied...now I'm taking at least 48 hrs. cuz I have to think even more...the ARB kit looks really nice, but,. you get a snatch block, 2 clevis shackles, a tree saver, and a tow strap for $200??? Is it really that good? I can get a tow strap for $30 and compared to $200...I mean shit, the winch I like is $400...I looked at the ARB tow strap, it's $78, is it that much better than Tractor Supply? I have an old one, but just want a new, but $78? much less $200...I may just get the winch, I will still need a tree saver and clevis, but I just can't see paying 200-plus for a tow-strap
