Default Steam from engine

Have a 2012 sport and 2 different times out on the trail after Going through a decent mud/ water hole, although not even bumper deep, I had a small amount of steam coming out of my engine for about 5-10 min..

Sorry if I sound stupid, but I don't remember this happening on my 07. At least not for 10 minutes.... Any thoughts or shouldn't worry about it? I should also note that I'm always pretty smart about crossing water. I don't go through questionably deep stuff, and I also don't fly through at 20 miles an hour. Always keeping an eye on that left corner!!!

Mine steams from the grill when I come to a stop when its raining out. As long is everything is running right and at normal temps. I wouldn't worry.

The electrical fan only runs above a preset temp. If the fan is not running, steam will come off the radiator when it is wet.

I have a Dodge SX 2.0 that does this to the point that I pull over and check the rad in a bit of a funk every so often, and I've had that car 7 years!! Only had my JKU 4 days, so can't comment on it.....

My 2012 2 door steamed a good bit after I ran it through a car wash to get rid of the salt

I was kinda worried too as I had a cj that never steamed as well
