Havent broke a single thing yet wheeling.. Tried some things i shouldnt have too. Make sure you pick a good path and if unsure, try going around the obstacle. I'd rather take the easy path then break something, but im cheap lol so i dont think thats the same for everyone

I think Croce is right. I have never broken anything but I tend to pick safer lines. I think that's the biggest key. I've definitely got hung up on rocks and some nice scrapes but I'm not out to prove anything. Just there to enjoy the ride.

It's all about knowing the jeeps limitations, and not putting it into a situation where the right foot is your only way out. I haven't broken anything yet, but there's always a first!

It matter how hard you push yourself/ your jeep. I tend to try and do as much as i can. I have some nice dents/ scrapes underneath, on my last wheeling trip i also slide off a rock and busted my passenger side rearview mirror.

Haven't broken anything (knock on wood), just scraped my rims with no guards on them

Basically... be prepared and don't do anyhting you are not comfortable with. You are wheelin to have fun, and if something seems to difficult for you, don't feel pressured. This Christmas I am picking up some things that will protect the undercarriage. For starters.... Front/rear differentials. You don't want a rock to smack that thing. Also, don't think about it - be careful but have fun

You should walk your lines before you wheel them if you are challenging yourself and/or your Jeep. A spotter also helps minimize damage. If there is a club in your area, join the experienced crowd with the caveat that you don"t want to try to keep up with the "big boys" until properly set up to do so.

Good Luck!

Just the air dam and fender fasteners so far...

Bent the bumper pretty good but got it back almost straight with a sledge, so I don't count that one.
