why are ppl flaming? cooking food wrapped in foil on top of the engine while wheeling has been going on for decades? there are other ways of getting your lunch other than the drive-thru people!

My dad, an engineer back in the '60s, used to cook in the engine room of his locomotive.

The biggest thing to do back in the days of Tellico was to cook a can of spam in your manifold. You would wheel for a few hours so it was NICe and hot, place the can on the manifold and in about 20 minutes the lid would literally pop open and you remove and eat with crackers of your choosing. I've also heated chili cans up in the exaust manifolds as well. Not rocket science. Ask my wife how great the grilled cheeses are

Very serious. We do this all the time on the trail. Hot dogs burritos etc. This is my favorite.

12/15 chicken wings
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon oregano
Tabasco Chipotle sauce mmmm
1 1/2 tsp flakes of red pepper
4-6 chopped jalapenos
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon honey
salt taste
Black Pepper

Mix all the ingrediants together and pour over your wings. Marrinate for at least 3 hours. Then wrap up a couple times in heavy duty foil (takes two bundles) and your good in about 3.5 - 4 hours.

Just in time for lunch
