Reason I am selling
Another member PM'd me asking why I am selling. Sorry for the lengthiness guys, but this is why I can no longer use my beloved tuner.
I bought it new from Dave at Northridge4x4.com about a year ago. Worked great for me, I actually did get better mpg gains with the 87 octane tune & changed the tire size when I got 35's.
I recently had the misfortune of hydrolocking my JK on the trails and had to get towed 3 hours home. Before taking it to the dealership, I flashed it back to stock. The dealer did an engine rebuild and now the JK's driving just fine. For some reason the Flashpaq is not recognizing my ignition being in the "Run" position.
I sent the tuner back to Superchips and they've tested it, upgraded it, and sent it back with a letter stating, "We have analyzed your product. We have reprogrammed/updated your Flashpaq. Your product has been tested for proper fuction and passed."
So I'm not sure what is wrong with my JK, but somehow it's not sending the correct ignition signal to the OBDII port.
If you'd like proof, I can scan and email/fax the letter from Superchips Tech Support.
