This is the cheapest mod I have done so far and has yet to be beat by anything else. You all know when you have a girl with you that their hair is all over the place when you got the top down and all the say is "I wish I had a hair tie" now you too can look like prince charming and say "why here you go". The only thing is I hear "you must have a lot of girls in here with you since you have these huh". "Of course not" I say........ fyi, don't carry more than 2 at any time.

What you need to tell her is that you started carrying them after you saw a guy hydro-lock his engine.

Obviously after sucking in enough water to do that, the air filter is soaked and useless...so if you don't have a spare filter, you just fit a piece of rag across the inlet tube for the airbox, and secure it there with a hair tie.

I saw it done when a friend tried to use speed instead of finesse to get through a hole in his stock TJ Sahara. One of the fine ladies travelling with us selflessly donated the elastic to help him out.

I have 2 hair ties like that also for when my girlfriend needs one, but i found (in my opinion) a better more out of the way spot.

Put them on the tweeter speakers, the fit perfectly around, snug, you dont even notice there there till u need them! hahah
