Are you drilling and porting the steering box yourself?
Or are you ordering in a new one to replace your old? If so are you giving them the core?
Are you mounting any other accessories with this, such as a larger rervoir, larger pump, cooler, etc?

I would really like to take a look at your set-up and do the drilling and porting myself. But I want to see where Redneck Ram does it.... I hope to catch you when you pass by BC! Ill buy you a coffee or a beer or all us jeepers can meet up at a resturant or something.

Your jeep is looking really really good and becoming very capable!!!! All the mods you have done, I back up 100%!!!

What exactly happened to you in the mud with the clutch? I'm sure I've used mine before while in the mud? Is that going to mess it up somehow?

Thanks for all the pics and the story, I am pretty sure I am going to upgrade to 315/75/16 Toyo MTs. I just need to pick my wheels. Did you have any rubbing issues with only 4.25" BS I have been looking at the Cragar or ProComp Street Locks in 16x8 with 3.75" BS. Any advice would be most appreciated!

P.S. - How did you get this effect on your pic? Photoshop I'm sure, but what did you do?

the mud and clutch really depends on the situation, in my experiance if it is very fine silty mud and you depress the clutch while the bell housing is submerged then there is a very good chance of the clutch sucking up the mud and water destroying it. I held my clutch in when i got stuck for probably abour 15 seconds before I realised what I was doing, and that was all it took....my advise, stay away from the clutch if you get stuck in the mud!

with that BS you should be fine. My wheels were 4.5" BS and didnt have any rubbing at all. ]

photoshop effect....couldnt tell ya, i didnt take the pic.

More Updates: built my stinger today, as well as painted the tire carrier and corners, as well as siliconed the gaps between the corner and body. all thats left to do now it fab up a bracket to mount the jerry can between the tire and the tailgate...hopefully done by the end of the week. Also, I may add a smaller tube that will cut across the top part of the stinger hoop, but still not sure if I want to do that yet.

PICS:
cutting off old bumper hoop:

bare bumper:

tacking the stinger on:

finished:

corners done:

Hi Dave,

What do you think of the Redneck Ram? I'm looking at it or the PSC.
