We got about 24-28 inches in RI. I was out all day Saturday with next to nothing plowed. I didn't see as many stranded cars though since we had a statewide driving ban in effect. Just me and the plows.

I was out playing in this Friday and Saturday... I made it to that cluster F*** at the Middle Country Rd. x Rocky Point Rd. intersection and turned around. Just went up that way today and the cars are all cleared, but the roads still covered in a sheet of ice.

I chopped the vid but it was actually 2 different yellow trucks. I tried to help first responders, jeeps, plows and tow trucks. The cars, there was just too many. I only moved them when they were in my way. It was really eerie.

That's what I thought seeing that first pic... like how the hell did they all get there and then just stop? It's not like it fell all at once. So bizarre.

It did fall very fast, but the more serious issue was the 60-80 mph winds, zero visibility, and a plethora of downed power lines . Nobody could see at all, regardless of what you were driving, but for someone in a sedan it was futile even attempting to drive during the worst of it.
