You can achieve very good gains by adding other things.. Body Lift, Taller Tires, Spacers to compensate for lost lift due to bumpers, winch, hard top, heavey tire on the back..

Example I gained 6" in front & 5" back over stock with 32's 3" from the lift, 1 1/2" from tires, 1 1/4" body lift 1/2" spacers..

BUT; still only have a 2.5 Coil lift..
Thanks Echo how about running the 3 inch coil on my 2dr but then adding some heavy steal bumpers to make the Jeep shorter would that help with the drive shaft angles?

Adding steel bumpers/winch/tire carrier will still have you sitting above 3", probably at least 3.5" still.

and is it ok to add a 1" body lift, before i add a suspension lift?
Bodylifts do not affect driveshaft angles or suspension geometry.

Yes, there's no problem adding the BL prior to the suspension lift.
