You could run 35" tires with no rubbing.

What gears depends on a number of things: What your diff gearing is (either 3.21, 3.73, or 4.10) and whether you've got an auto or a manual tranny.

Either way, many people run 35's without re-gearing. Whether it's optimal is up to you.

If you choose the 2.5bb you will be able to run 35's comfortable! I am running a rubicon express 2.5bb with 33's and have plenty of room for 35's. As far as gearing I would get 4.88's if you are planning to run 35's. However, if you think you will go with a bigger lift in the future and will run anything bigger than 35's I would get 5.13's. Hope this helped!!

Well i'm all stock as of now, running 3.21, with a manual tranny. If I had stock 4.10 gears I probably wouldn't worry, but thats sounds like pushing it quite a bit.

Gas mileage isn't my biggest concern, but has anyone noticed how much it changes when you bump it up to 4.88 or 5.13?

35s easy and 37s no problem. I'm considering 38s but have trimmed my Rubi rails already and have right at 3" of lift with my 2.5" BB.
