2011 interior!!!!!!!
I'm new to the US forum, but as a potential purchaser downunder of a new 4 door unlimited diesel, I like the interior layout and colors.
I'm sure aftermarket manufacturers will have replacement chrome bits to improve some of the looks.
I also like the idea of the hardtop being color matched to the body.
I want a truck that is comfortable to drive in the city, but can be rugged enough for the bush.
But at least I can buy a diesel!
Great forum - enjoying it lots.

I was undervalued by the 2010 interior when I was checking them out last month. I like the new changes.
Been a reader for a couple of weeks, but this will be my first post, so here goes.
I am going to buy my first JK in a couple of weeks, and i have to say that these pics of the 2011 interior helped me to decide to make the move. When i went to the dealer to test-drive a 2010 a month ago, i was turned off by the interior, specially the PT Cruiser steering wheel and cheapo plastic. I know that the interior does not affect driving and offroad at all, but it was that same crappy interior that my step-dad has in his Cruiser that i was gonna have in my face all the time... and I didn't want that.
If you guys take the time to read the PDF file in the other thread (or is it this one), you will see that the base color is gonna be all black, and the black/dark saddle combo are gonna be OPTIONS in the sahara and rubicon. So you can quit your crying right now. I know that black is harder to keep clean, but if you let dirt and dust lay on your dash long enough, it's gonna turn a nice shade of grey anyway.

sorry if my english is not so good, i'm from Quebec and i speak 99% of the time in french.

i get the feeling an exterior "refresh" is going to go the same way. some things can only be improved upon so much. make the improvements where it is most needed; engine, drive train. you know, little insignificant things like that for shit sakes!!
i like the basicness and boxiness of my 2007 jk. do yourselves a favor my friends and hang on to your older jk's. you will be glad you did.
after reading through all the posts i still stand by my original thoughts. i don't care if the color scheme is all black and you take away all the chrome shit, this interior does not belong in a wrangler. top down and doors off you are going to look gay, especially in the interior configuration shown in the pictures.

You can polish a turd but its still a turd.
couldmt help but notice the "door ajar" display. that oughta be great when doors are off. and why the hell does the echo chamber insist on "door ajar"? why not "door open"? It aint a rolls.
WOW!! I've never seen so many adults act like spoiled brats over something so insignificant and unimportant.. Don't like the colors? Order a different color scheme.. Don't like the leather and the trim? Don't order the leather and the trim.. Don't like the top painted to match the body? Don't order the top so its painted to match the body.. Don't like the 2011 changes? Buy a 2010.. I mean, is that really THAT hard to figure out??? You guys are acting like some of these options are the end of the world..
I agree with you.. I really don't understand why to some people it's unacceptable to be comfortable when you get into a vehicle you love to drive... I love my wrangler, but on long trips it's tough to tolerate how uncomfortable the seats and interior can become..
