man, as much as i love the look of the jk8, chrysler would have to make some serious improvement to the kit as a whole before i bought one. after seeing one built in person, i have to say that i'm a little disappointed in what you really get.

What kind of price range are we talking about for these Jeep mods. Many of them look completely rebuilt. Looks like most must have a complete drivetrain and suspension rebuild. Not to mention major custom interiors.

Very cool!!!!!!!!!! wish I could see them in person. Maybe one day I'll plan a trip to such a show. I'm a new Jeep owner. Have been a fan fan for many years. Really glad to be a part of the family.
most of these jk's are in the tens of thousands when it comes to mods.

Thats really unfortunate :/

I am a long time Jeep Truck Lover (Love my J10), and would really like a new one. I actually prefer the approach that AEV took with their new Brute (only in a single cab config). But if its priced like the previous Brute, I doubt I could afford it.

Just sayin'?
LOL!! those aren't wheel chocks but rather, name placards telling people what the tire make is.

Thanks!
they looked to me like custom welded seat mounts. however, mastercraft makes a rear seat bracket that allows you to attach their racing seats to it. we have this in our white JK.

the bumper you see is a modified version of their stubby bumper.

the prorock 80 is seriously bad ass and, the rugged ridge snorkel can be run low profile as you see it and with a taller intake tube.

Any pictures of the underhood plumbing? I'm curious how it attaches to the intake. Would love to find a snorkel that works with the BOR installed Hemi.

Thanks and keep the excellent coverage coming!
i'll post up some detailed pics of this shortly

yes, it was and i'm pretty sure i took some pics of it. i'll try to post it up shortly

also any info on the seats. they look like mastercraft Rubicon seats but i cant find them in that same color on their site.
yes and, i believe there was another member who answered the question regarding the seats correctly - they are military mastercrafts.

Brute Double Cab
wheelbase 139 inches
overall length 216 inches
Interior bed length 61"L x 60"W
width 74 inches, maybe wider
(4 1/2 inch lift with 37 inch tires)

Toyota Tacoma Double Cab
wheelbase 127 inches
overall length 208 inches
Interior bed length 60"L x 57"W
width 75 inches
what jkoperator said - it's long but, not so much so that it wouldn't fit in the same lines as a tacoma double cab.

it really is especially being that i so wanted to like it. again, i still love the look but, the kit or a finished verison of it would need some improvements to the bulkhead (it's fiberglass), roll bar (needs improvements to the connections or needs to be welded) and deck of the bed before i would consider one (way too thin and flimsy).

that's why we stayed out in henderson this year.

Okay, I know there were a few requests regarding the Rugged Ridge windshield light bar so, here are a couple more pics of it...

Here are a few shots of their snorkel with extension too...

Forgot to post these up earlier but, Truck-Lites also had some new rock lights...

While this isn't anything new per se, the Advanced Adapters replacement t-case shifter cable is something I think a lot of people would want - no more cheap plastic bushings to break...

For those of you wanting to know how the plumbing worked on the Rugged Ridge snorkel, this is what it looks like out of a JK and standing on its own...

King had a pretty cool internal bypass shock on display in the new products isle...

And, one of the wackiest things we at the show was this thing...

Here's a shot of the flier attached to it...
