Default 315/70/17 (34.5" tall) Hankook RT03 tires on 17x7.5 wheels

For those that have been wondering about mounting some 35's on stock 17x7.5 wheels, here are some pics for you.

I just had some Hankook DynaPro MT RT03's, 315/70/17 (approx 34.5" tall) mounted on some Jeep Commander Hulk wheels which are 17x7.5 (same size as the stock 17's.) They fit well, and I think they should look good on my Red Rock Unlimited Rubicon once it comes in. Here are a few pictures. That's a stock ride height 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC in the background for reference.

Thanks. I measured them, and they are right at 12.0" wide on these wheels.

That wheel / tire combo is going to look awesome on your jeep.

You have to post pictures once you get these babies on.

Default beautiful!

These will look great, what are their true weight, my 295's are 33.3 tall......as you know some tires run tall and others short. These will look great! I will email you some pics of my rig running same rims to post on this thread soon...

nice choice!

Hi, well just need your advice. I have 17x7.5 OEM wheels no backspacing... wanted to ask you if these OEM wheels and 315 tires combination has worked for you. Have you had any issues??? Please let me know I want to make the same but im afraid about the "at least 8.5" diameter wheels" and OEM are 7.5 Thank you.

Edit: Just noticed I need backspacers since my tires are touching a suspension arm.

Since they're sitting off the vehicle, could you weight one and let us know the how heavy the tire/wheel combo is?
Thanks.

Those look beyond awesome. I have been wanting to toss my stock sahara 18's for a set of Hulk wheels since I first saw them.

Do you know if the Commander Hulk wheels support the tire pressure sensors? My Wrangler is a 2008 so I got to keep those sensors around on whatever wheels I switch to.
