Default 33 X 12's on stock suspension

Figured I would open a new thread for easier search because I'm sure people want to know if it works and what it looks like. Anyway, just put a set of 305 X 70 X16 (33 x 12") Goodyear MT/R with Kevlar sidewalls and 1.5" Spidertrax spacers on my stock height 07 2-door X. Below are the before and after pics and I can turn all the way both ways with no rubbing. Also I hit some pretty good bumps in the road on the way to work and had no rubbing.
Disclaimer: They will NOT fit without the spacers.

BTW: My 3" lift is in shipment.

I am doing the same thing.

I have a 2010 2 door, and have decided that being in Florida, and using it as a Daily Driver... I will run 33x12.50x15's. I am going with the Mickey Thompson Classic 2's... in a 15x10 with 4 inches of back spacing.

I don't think I will install a lift, just maybe a Teraflex Leveling Kit, Bushwhacker Flat Flares and just upgrade my shocks from factory to something nice.

That should give me the level stance, tons of clearance, and keep the cost down.

Jeep looks GREAT Brother!

I thought of doing the same but I plan to play on the trails quite a bit and thought the increased clearance may come in handy. Thanks

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. I was pleasantly surprised I expected quite a bit of road noise but am finding it really hard to tell much of a difference from the stocks that were on there.

Looks sharp. I have been trying to decide on what size tire to go with on my 08 X and those are looking nice.

I went with 275/75R16 that are 11.5" wide. But I went with a wheel with 4.5" of backspacing. No lift yet. So farjust minimal rubbing when flexing.

I'm in the same situation with a I-95/Turnpike daily commute of ~70 miles. I'm going with 16" wheels as they never seem to have the issues people have reported with 15". Probably a true 33" (or possibly smaller 35").

The difference is that I will install a 2.5" BB as they aren't much money and will give a noticable lift.
