This seems like a good thread to post my query. I ended up getting a second set of wheels/tires to get my JK through its last inspection, after its first few inspections the shop now has an issue with the wheels peeking out past the end of the fenders. My question for those who run the 1.5" spacers is, do you ever remove them to run a second set of wheels/tires? I'd like to get a set of AT tires to quiet and smooth out the ride a bit and just put the terra grapplers back on for the trails. Curious if the spacer bolts get seized to the stocker studs.

I run spacers but also run my MTs year round. I have loctite on my spacers and have not had to take them off yet but I imagine it might be a pain.

I run a second set of meaty-skinny tire/wheel setup in the winter months and also to preserve my summer set.
I use Loctite also and have not had issues whatsoever on performance and removal.
Just make sure you use the appropriate Loctite compound.

Ya man, I read about that debacle!!! That is exactly what got me thinking of how much of a PITA will these spacer bolts be to remove off the original studs. Thanks for the loctite link BTW

315 70 17 Falken Wild Peaks. Wearing very well on road, good for trail use, overall pretty pleased for the price. I'm in black.
