The tread does not extend far beyond the outside edge of the flare, maybe an inch to and inch and a half at most. I am out of town right now and do not have my Jeep with me or I would measure it for you.

Just installed 35" KM2s on my stock Rubi snowflakes. I'm running 2.5" lift (AEV dual sport) with no rubbing, although I need to add extended bumpstops. If I could do it again, I'd likely go 3" or more of lift.

Also, this is like fitting tight pants on a big girl - pretty crazy how far out the bulge comes from the wheel. I'll likely replace them down the line.

Only picture I have so far:

Went from stock tires to 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers (lasted 60,000 miles). Just got 35/12.50/17 BFG KO2s today... Man, I hope I made the right decision...

Can someone send me some front and rear pictures of their 35" tires on stock 17" wheels? Something like those, so I can see how 35" stick out of the stock fender flares... Those are mines now with 33"

It dosnt really matter if they are 33s or 38s, it all depends on the width. How wide are your current tires?

Most 35s are 12.5" wide. You will need spacers to run a tire that wide with the stock wheels.

Right now I have Toyo Open Country AT2 285/70R17 (32.8") and I think they are around 11"wide (not sure). If I put on the same tire in 315...(35") then for sure they will come out more (tread). I also have 1.5" G2 wheel spacers...

Yeah then they will just stick out another 3/4" or so.
