35's with stock wheels post em' here
Hello All! 1st post here on the JK Forum. Got my Wrangler in October 2012 and got bit by the off road bug this spring, been looking at upgrading ever since. I'm looking to make my first big purchase and put a lift and tires on the stock rims.
I've been going through this thread and have not seen any Sahara stock rims (and yes, I'm kicking myself for not getting a Rubicon) that are the same as mine, see photo below. Makes me wonder if they are a viable option to put 35's on? A friend of mine can get me a deal on BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2s so I'm looking to pull the trigger real soon. Also contemplating a lift but not sure what size and how it will effect handling; this is my daily driver. Any suggestions and comments would be most appreciated!

I've had 4 jeeps. 2 cj-7s back in college and loved them! And 2 wranglers (98 and 2000). I've never gone over 33" tires. I'm ordering a 2014 as soon as we pay off our 2nd mortgage! Can't freakin wait!
This will be my dd with occasional off-road use but no real rock crawling (at least until the warranty runs out) I have been monitoring the forums for over a year and have been reading everything I can. I was certain I was going with 33s but I LOVE the look of 35s! So, to my question.
If I get a 2.5 aev spring lift, duratrac 315s on stock Rubicon wheels, with 1.5 spidertrax, is there anything else I should do to keep it all "fairly" worry free Basically will things start breaking before a few years because of the bigger tires? Or should I stick with the 33s and a tf leveling kit?
Again I absolutely love the look of the 315s but also don't want a lot more maintenance on it besides routine stuff. Also don't want dealer warranty problems. I know technically I shouldn't but in practice it seems it can easily become a hassle.
Sorry for the long post but I'm excited AND I want to do this right the first time! Measure twice cut once right!
