Question 35x12's - Stock Suspension + Fenders???

Like the title says...

I've got 315/75R16's on 16" Unique wheels (re-branded Cragar soft 8's) coming in the mail most likely 2-4 weeks earlier than my custom River Raider Fenders. Think I can cram them under there? This is with the realization that I won't be able to wheel until the fenders are on due to obvious lack of flex room.

If I can do it without trimming that would be perfect, then I can sell my stock fenders as replacements to someone else who's wrecked one of theirs.

Pics?? or am I going to HAVE to trim?

I would just wait except my spare is a side-wall torn X tire which was swapped out for my already plug-repaired tire... Not a good situation here....

I have seen pics of guys who have put 35's on without a lift. You will not be able to wheel your JK that way. If you do not want to trim your fenders so that you can sell them, then just pop them off when wheeling, then you can still try and sell them. Honestly though, I can't imagine wheeling with stock stock suspension and 35's, even with flat fenders. Maybe it is possible because the stock suspension won't flex that much. But as for complete stock set up and 35's...keep it on the street.

I ran my 35x12.50x17s on my stock ruby for the ride home from the tire install shop. about 25 miles. when i got home, i put the lift on. I did have aluminum spacers since i was running on stock wheels, but none the less, they did fit... the only rubbing was when i'd turn the wheel all the way to one side or the other, more so in reverse. you shoudl be fine, just don't drive like speed racer or take any turns really really tight...

Figured as much, but just really needed to hear it.

5" - getting wheel spacers if any rubbing.

Is kinda a mix between the "do it now" vs spare is totally illegal, and riding on one plugged tire already...

And then re-gear, then lift this winter/spring with a 4" for full-bore trail attack next year. Plus right now there's not a big re-sale market for JK stuff in Calgary. Everything I've re-sold has gone out of province. Then it's skid-plates and maybe chains for winter wheeling. Then I'm done till I break something.

But thanks all for your input. I just have to keep hoping (knock on wood) that the rest of my stocker tires hold up until the fenders get here.
