I don't like the MTR tires, I had BFG Krawlers before and the MTR do not sick as good. They squeel on the rocks as well. Check out the BFG tires.

Correct.. IMO, they are offroad tires.. of course holymolyracing does not use his Jeep on road.. it's a trailer queen from my understanding

If you do any street driving go with the MT/R's. They ride very nice, and are surprisingly quiet.

The Krawler is most likely better for offroad only (Stickier compound). But they will wear fast (especially the red labels) and the street ride isn't near as good.

The Mud Grapplers may be better in a mud only situation. But their ride on the street sucks compared to the MT/R. And they are just about as loud as TSL's on the street. And while I love the sound of the TSL's on my J10, I don't daily drive it.

Oh yeah, the Toyo MT's ride nice also, and do great offroad. But they are much heavier. So they are a bit harder on your drive train.

We just bought 2 full sets of 40" Mud Grapplers....... compared to Pro Comp Xtreme M/T's the Mud Grapplers are better all around hands down.

We were going to go with the Kevlars but I spoke to a few folks that ran both tires and each of them preferred the Mud Grapplers overall.

I assume you're gearing for tires of that size...?

That's correct. I have them. They're a soft tire, GREAT for squeezing the juice out of rocks but wear quick on pavement.
