Default 6 1/2" LED Ovals in stock rear bumper

I finally got around to adding LED's in my stock rear bumper. They are fairly bright, and I wired them to a switch on the A-pillar. Works great! Ran the wires thru the Frame to the rear bumper.

Looks great. Any problems cutting the holes or interference issues?

Yeah, a write up would be great, I didn't think there was enough clearance for that.

I didn't think about doing a write up until I was almost finished. Wasn't difficult, but took about 5 hrs in all. Could be done quicker, but had 3,6,& 11 year old helpers! Lol

The lights measure 6.5"x 2.5". They also have them in 4" round. Lay out lights where you want them. (Because I used the ovals, they had to go in this location to miss the middle mounting nuts toward center of bumper on back side.) Using a 2.5" holesaw, drill two holes spaced 4.5" apart on center, for each light. Then I used a Dremel to connect the holes. You will then have to use the Dremel to trim out the back for depth. Insert lights.
Using an electricians fish tape, I pulled the wires thru the box frame with rear bumper off, coming out of frame thru open hole behind drivers front wheel and up engine side of fender. I wired them to a switch one of my rugged ridge A pillar switches.
That's it. Pretty simple. Just need a steady hand when cutting holes.

Mind posting a brightness pic looking back from the Jeep? I'm curious to see how far and wide the throw is on these. Definitely love the idea though! Just trying to settle on what LED's to use
