ACE Engineering Front Bumper & Sway Bar Kit
Yesterday, I installed the ACE Engineering Pro Series Front Bumper (Bull Bar) and ACE Engineering Electronic Sway Bar Flip Kit.
The Electronic Sway Bar Flip Kit consists of a bolt & washer and allows the electronic sway bar motor to rotate up and relocate behind the new bumper. It installed pretty easily and only required minor modification to the plastic brush guard in front of the radiator.
The Pro Series Front Bumper came powder coated black, which in my opinion is a convenient feature, but it would be nice if the powder coating was of a higher quality. Installation did take some time, because you need to remove the front lower cross-member and modify the frame and frame horn. It did take some time to make all the necessary cuts, grind, sand, drill and repaint. Once that was complete, the bumper literally took 10 minutes to bolt on. I love the bumper, as it's extremely stout and looks great. I would've preferred a better quality powder coating job, but I gave it a few coats of bedliner, so it'll be fine for a while.
