I found some leather laying around the house this weekend and had an idea..I covered the door pulls as well as the oh s**t handle...I figured this would save on the handles since they are going to get the dirtiest..

 

Good Idea, how did you attatch the leather?

 

For the door andles/ pax handle I took the leather, rolled the edges so it gave it a clean look and used upholstery adhesive to hold together. Then I applied velcro to the back sides of the leather so I could take them off to clean, got tired of them, didn't look good, etc...I have some extra blue leather if anyone else would like to try..Sorry, no more tan leather left... For the console I took it apart and stretched the leather to cover the edges then cut to fit..Thinking about getting some padding for the armrest and recovering..

 

You need to work out a leather cover and padding for your headrests, I know a few folks here would be interested in that upgrade.

Thanks for the compliments..I just do it as a hobby..I have recovered chairs, etc. and I have some spare hides laying around..I have navy blue, tan and grey...might try the headrests in grey..will try and find time ths weekend to experiment...I thought about the arm rests as well, I did them in my Chrysler 300...
