AEV NEW rear bumper
I find myself in disagreement over the appearance of the bumper. This is my favorite rear bumper to date. The more I look at it the more I like it and desire it. At first I was scratching my head over it, then I started to like it, then I started really liking it. The same goes for most well designed things, you usually are not sure if you like them at first, then they usually have to grow on you before you end up liking them. Many people didn't like the new design of the JK at first, now look, it's got it's own Quadratec catalog

I was reaally turned off at first, but, like alot of people are saying, its been growing on me. Still plenty of time to decide, I'll need the front before I even think about the rear.
The determining factor will really be how they design accessory mounting options and if they introduce modularity into the corner guards (ie water/fuel/or solid steel options). They claim to have some pretty original ideas. We'll see...

I really like most of AEV's stuff and I do like this bumper.....on the right vehicle BUT it in no way matches the body lines like the AEV front bumper does

Tube bumper on rear and full with body shaped front bumper????
just doesnt match what I expec ted the AEV style to be.

When you think about the the endless delays and how closely guarded the secret of the new bumper is a pretty serious let down. I am a pretty big AEV fan but this thing just does not do it for me.
