Default Aev snorkel problem!!!!!

has the rubber seal that connects the ram air or pre filter connection dried out on anyone on here? mines shot and about to make my pre filter fall off, what have you guys used to fix the issue?

I'm sure AEV would send you one free. Mine's not dry rotted yet but its only been on there for 8 months or so. Give them a call, I'm sure they'll hook ya up.

i was eevn thinking about just wrapping the top in electrical tape so that the top has something with a good stick texture to grip and seal too......

I did a good wrap of rubber electrical tape it will last much longer.

What we did in the army for seals that dried up before we replaced them was to use chapstick. Rehydrated the seal and made it usable until replaced.

I will have to check mine out, been on for 2 years now, no problems so far that i'm aware of.
