Look at the prices between Teraflex BB(budget boost), coil lifts, and long arms.

 

My local dealer installed the rebranded Mopar 4" lift on a 2 and 4 door JK...both had 33" tires and it was not that bad. But, they were 33x12.5 which helped them not look goofy. Personally, I want the biggest tires that I can fit under my rig at all times. :-)

 

Here is a 4.5 lift, and 1.25 body lift, with Xenons and 33s. IMO, looks really strange....

Looks absolutely ABSURD! 33s are meant for, AT MOST, 2.5" of suspension lift. Even then, with chopped flares, looks funny.

 

That's badass! They should come factory that way! .......

 

It sure would make putting 37s on alot easier!

 

I think 4" and 33's looks fine,and it avoids the whole debate about regearing.

 

You aint kiddin, took me 2yrs to be able to get to the point of puttin on 37's. Some peeps on here do it in a couple weeks.

 

I don't understand what you mean about "avoids the whole debate about regearing" comment. Once you go bigger, you need gearing to bring the power back to stock, and then some, period. Yes you can drive it, no it's not going to have the same power, period.

Plus, that ProComp lift is DEFINITELY not giving you 4" of lift. Many of these companies state a certain height, yet fail to get to that height by an inch. If you install a TF 4" lift, take a pic and post it here. It'll be a lot higher than that.

Hell, my TF BB seems to of looked that way when I didn't chop the flares yet with 33s.

You are correct. What I mean is that there are threads and threads debating the subject of the necessity to re-gear with 35's. For those in flat terrains who only drive to church on Sunday, or those who want the look and don't care about performance, or those who only wheel a little...etc., etc. The loss of power, the strain on stock parts...all those things need to be factored in to make a decision regarding going 35. With 4 inches and 33's, no regearing is necessary. 315's (which are really 34 inches), or 35's -- the decisions mount.
