Well had her for almost a year now and decided to wax it one time to make the little bubbles of water stand up again, lol.

the only time i wax the jeep is with the natural oils in MUD

 

the way i see it is the wax protects the paint from water corrosion, which protects the metal from rust corrosion, which protects me jeep from extererior decomposition.

same reason I wanna rustoleum or line the bottom of the jeep as well. want this thing to last at least as long as i do

I wax about once every two to three months and clay bar twice a year! I'm trying to keep what little paint it has looking good!

 

I have hand washed my jeep once in two years. its gets washed every time it rains though.

 

Just waxed the JK a couple days. Have to! The Arizona sun is a killer; even at this time of the year.

 

I tried to wax the beast once , she woke up and hit me with a lamp.
