Is that a new torque converter? Wonder if it will get rid of the shudder? Or is it a transfer case?

No, I went with the 5:44 instead. If I need to get out and take a leak, I'll just stop the Jeep instead. Seriously, I don't think I'd ever use the 10:1 while I think the 2:1 could come in real useful in the snow.

Are you going to use a support ring? I know Roark Fab makes a real nice support. What else will you do in the swap??

Hadn't even heard of a support ring until your post. I don't think the weight difference is that much between stock and the Atlas, but I'll definitely put some thought into it. As far as anything else, I'm going to rebuild my Reel drive lines and put in some greaseable u-joints. Never can seem to get those needle fittings to accept any lube. There's some interesting adjustments to the wiring so the JK knows it's in 4wd and so that it only shifts to low when in neutral. Other than that it looks pretty much plug and play.

That is what I am considering as well, did you get the shifters and all that needed to complete the swap?

Advanced Adapters makes a great cable shifter set up. I used the same shifters in PSC Motorsport's JK. Now the doubler shift lever will be fun to install, its kind of- bulky. Adam
