Nothing happend, It's just seem's that on many modifications there is more than what was expected. Not tryin to be"doom & gloom" but like you said ,turning into a crazy project ! The one thing about these axle's is too many open question's like steering . But I realy like them as well , I'm sure when the time comes they will work all that out with me. I hear their pretty good people to deal with.

They do look nice, but there are two sets of u-joints at each corner and as we all know the u-joints are what usually fail first. Also, your COG is going to be higher than a straight axle, so it really probably depends on what you are useing your Jeep for..

Portal-Tek is out of business. Both axle lines, the G3 Portals and Super14 are currently up for sale to the highest bidder. Wish things were different, but due to some really unfortunate business decisions we were forced to close our doors and attempt to clean up the massive mess that was made.
