Offshore no, inland Lake Ponchatrain yes! Went last Sunday for a couple of hours, 4 Speckled Trout-2 weighing 4lbs14oz and 4lbs10oz, 2-7lb Redfish and 2-Nice size flounder. Just got to go where the oil isn't.

how are the beaches fairing there in Galveston? any oil washed up there yet?

no, and there shouldnt be. LA and East...
waters great and fishing is too.
Also redirects a lot of tourism here.
Crazy to just have everyone running around half nekkid!

Dude that's awesome! Haha the only thing me and my JK have caught so far are a few croaks and specks. Just not enough time for me to go fishing these days and now with the oil spill down here things are lookin' bad. Enjoy it buddy!
