Back up lights
haha, Thanks for the post Grant!
I personally think they give me more light plus I prefer the whiter light than the yellowish stock bulbs. This is just another way for me to personalize my Jeep. Someone else on this board replaced his with some similar LEDs and felt that the stock bulbs gave off more light. The LEDs will appear brighter than the stock bulbs hen looking at them, just keep in mind that the light given off is whiter so therefore is not as easily seen by the naked eye when compared to the stock bulbs. Just a FYI.

I am doing the foglight thing tomorrow...let you know how it turns out.
Is it possible to recess the stock front fog lights into the rear bumper to act as backup lights? I wonder if there's a way to use the plastic surround that's on the stock front bumper?
Anyone care to try? I will be getting a Shrockworks Stubby front bumper and a set of PIAA fogs for the front, so I'll have the stock fogs to play with. I'll try doing it once I have enough saved to buy the LoD rear bumper - just in case I mess up

That looks great! I want to do the same thing, but I will use the stock front fogs, otherwise they won't be used. How difficult was it to mount them on the bumper? I'm not sure how to mount the lights on the bumper without having any screws show. I guess I could epoxy the brackets to the back? I am anxiously awaiting your write-up!
I want to see how you tied into the existing electrical of the back up lights.
Great job on yours!

I have the write up done. I'm just waiting on my proofreader. Funny thing is I have spent most of the afternoon on it. As for the stock lamps. I drought there is enough room under there. The rear crossmember is only a half inch behind the plastic. They will stick out much further than what I have done.
I hate to keep you in suspense. I'll have it posted before I go to bed. Photos, measurements, the works.
